Especially for Powder Coating Applications
Performance Lanco PE 1525 MF is a specially developed wax designed to
improve the surface properties of powder coatings. It provides
excellent scratc**brasion resistance and can be easily
predispersed due to its optimum particle size. In addition, it
provides a matting effect, allowing the addition rate of matting
hardeners to be reduced.
The use of Lanco PE 1525 MF provides the following benefits:
• Increased scratc**brasion resistance
• Improved slip and antiblocking
• Non-yellowing
• Improved surface smoothness
• Acts as a processing aid during powder production
• Also useful in a wide variety of systems where a larger particle
size polyethylene is desirable
• Complies with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 175.300
Typical Applications Lanco PE 1525 MF is useful in a wide range of powder coating
resin systems based on:
• Epoxy
• Hybrid
• Polyester urethane
• Acrylic
Incorporation Lanco PE 1525 MF should be incorporated into the premix, prior
to the extrusion step.
Addition Levels The recommended addition level of Lanco PE 1525 MF is 0.3-1%,
based on total formulation weight. Higher addition rates may be
needed to produce the desired matting effect.

Typical Properties
Packaging and Storage Lanco PE 1525 MF is packaged in 20 kg (44 lb) bags, 15 bags per
pallet.
Material should be stored on pallets in closed areas. A storage
temperature of 30°C should not be exceeded.
Regulatory Status Lanco PE 1525 MF complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR
175.300.
